CUBIEBOARD GOES HAMRADIO

my goal for this work:

Raspberry PI is well known in the community but it has a little low CPU power so I decided
in April 2013 to try out the CUBIEBOARD.
I ordered online and it arrived after 2days.

THE CUBIEBOARD:

SOFTWARE:

On the internal flash is an preinstalled Android in Version 4.04 and
it can be changed to the following systems:
(May 2013)

- Android TV Box Allwinner release1 image suitable for LiveSuit [280MB]
- Android TV Box Allwinner release2 image [197MB]
- Android TV Box Allwinner release2.2 image [285MB]
- Buildroot 2011.02 image suitable for LiveSuit [75MB]
- CyanogenMod 9 Beta image suitable for LiveSuit [166MB]

using the berryboot bootloader it is possible to install different LINUX systems
on the MicroSD-Card.
So i tried out the following premade distributions.

-Fedora 18
-Linaro Ubuntu_ALIP_2012.11
-RaspRazor_2012.09
-DebainWheezyRaspbian_2012.12

best use for  HAMRADIO applications looks in Fedora 18 and Debian Wheezy Raspbian.
- information and help for Fedora 18 is from ZS1JEN
